Leto didn't die! It's a miracle! Apologies for not having a show out for a week and a half, but as you can very plainly tell from how I sound in this episode, I'm still sick. We go over a lot of Steam news, some random gaming crap, and what I've been up to this week and change right here on your Leto Report!

For this episode of The Leto Report, I have some thoughts on DC vs Mortal Kombat, my gaming so far this week Star Wars wise, and even a little bit of information on that crappy event going on in World of Warcraft.

We uncover some amazing news on the Star Wars MMO project being put together, now being called "Star Wars: The Old Republic", more gaming and internet news as usual, and a reminder that Fallout 3 is coming to the United States October 28th!

I had no idea this was going on, somehow something this major had slipped under my political radar a few days ago. Not only is the McCain campaign using the word Socialist, and saying Communist along with it, which is also horribly insulting, but they're basing an entire series of ads and speeches on it! This is absolutely pathetic, is McCain still in the Cold War? How pathetic is it that you have to insult an entire legitimate political and economic ideal just to take a cheap shot at your political rival?

How many people is McCain willing to insult without thinking about it just to get a chance at the Presidency? It's wrong on a personal level to insult an affiliation like Socialism with such disregard for who you might be insulting. I personally hope anyone that votes in favor of McCain knows of this insult, and has it on their conscience if they do end up voting for him; someone that has his head so far up his hard right conservative ass that he can't tell the difference between Socialism and Communism. I'm too livid over this to write any further, but hopefully if you read this you'll think about what this means for how McCain thinks of other peoples and ideas.

Episode #3 of The Leto Report, we hit on Blizzcon hard, as well as the announcements that have come out of it over the weekend. We also touch on RL once again, with some happy news for once.

Okay, I put up an opinion post earlier this evening on TGM's front page. I like how it came together. A lot. I think it really highlights our view on why we try to keep politics and religion off TGM, not because someone's right or wrong, or because we agree or disagree with something, but because when it comes to gaming and having a good time online, it ruins a good time.

Politics is one of those things I get riled up about in a way that you won't see in any other way. I seethe with anger when I can't get a point across, or when someone disagrees with me in a way that makes me think they're more about themselves than the good of the country. I always forget that my opinion of what's good for the country is different from what everyone else thinks.

With that being said, it's safe to say I'm very leftist, Socialist leftist. Most people that know me personally will confirm this in an instant. I should have liked this article for the reason that it shows how much gaming executives like Obama, and liberals in general. I think the article was well done, without opinion as it should, but I don't like the article. It really does strike the "Why the hell are you talking about this" chord. That's really all there is to it, as I can't get past that point. I hope you all enjoyed reading the TGM article, as I enjoyed putting it together.
